T.J. Thorpe sidelined with foot injury

North Carolina sophomore T.J. Thorpe suffered a serious foot injury in practice that will sideline him for an extended period of time, according to sources close to the situation. UNC has not yet provided official word. Thorpe set a school record as a freshman with 960 kickoff return yards in 2011, and led the ACC with a 26.7 kickoff return average.
