UNC’s T.J. Thorpe suffers foot injury

UNC sophomore T.J. Thorpe suffered a foot injury during practice Sunday night and may not be ready for the start of the season. Carmen Thorpe, T.J.’s mother, said Monday that X-rays showed a break, but it’s still not clear how much time the wide receiver/kick returner will miss. “I know that right now he’s going to be out for a few weeks, and we don’t know exactly how long,” Carmen Thorpe said.
