UNC players say win 'extra special' for ex-Cane Davis

Butch Davis was displaying his best poker face, the one Miami fans grew accustomed to when he did big things as an assistant coach under Jimmy Johnson and as a master rebuilder of the Hurricanes in the late 1990s. But under that calm exterior, Davis had to be grinning from ear to ear Saturday afternoon as the Bell Tower on the North Carolina campus rang minutes after his Tar Heels defeated the Hurricanes for his first career Atlantic Coast Conference victory.
