Tar Heels find help at wide receiver

Erik Highsmith, UNC's No. 1 receiver, was riding an exercise bike on the sideline. Nearby, celebrated freshman receiver Quinshad Davis had his gloves on but only so he could field kicks during field goal drills. So when the starters lined up for an 11-on-11 drill Monday, sophomore Sean Tapley was joined in a three-receiver set by Roy Smith, a hurdler on the track team, and Mark McNeill, a midfielder on the lacrosse team.
