Giovani Bernard likes the options in UNC’s offense

After running for a UNC freshman record 1,253 yards and an ACC-best 13 touchdowns a year ago, Giovani Bernard may not have welcomed a change from the pro-style system the Tar Heels used to run. But plays such as the one Bernard made on the practice field earlier this week show that the first-team All-ACC tailback may have new opportunities to showcase his ability in Fedora’s spread offense.
