Harrison Barnes visits Ames, relives autograph-signing memory


Here, in a blown up picture on the wall behind him, was an oversized image of young waiting for an autograph from NBA players B.J. Armstrong and Fred Hoiberg. On Wednesday, Barnes moved to the other side of the table at the Ames Boys & Girls Club. The former North Carolina all-American and Ames native signed autographs for kids in the same gym he patrolled as a child. (Des Moines Register)
