Kicking off the season

North Carolina begins their season at home today. On Friday night, N.C. State mounted a comeback against Tennessee but the Wolfpack came up short, falling 35-21 in nonconference action. UNC, playing its first game with Larry Fedora as its head coach, welcomes Elon to Kenan Stadium for a 12:30 p.m. game. (Durham Herald-Sun)
