Tar Heels QB: Right on pace

Bryn Renner said he should be ready to run North Carolina’s new fast-paced spread offense. That wasn’t always the case. “I think light years,” Renner said of how much he has improved in understanding his role. The Tar Heels will find out how comfortable Renner is in first-year coach Larry Fedora’s system with this afternoon’s opener against visiting Elon University.
