The Paul Hornung Award is awarded annually to the most versatile player in major college football. Week One Honorees: North Carolina's Giovani Bernard scored three different ways in a 62-0 win over Elon on Sept. 1. He had nine carries for 93 yards and a touchdown, two receptions for 10 yards and a touchdown and two punt returns for 100 yards and a touchdown. (GoHeels.com)
