Summer Green Named ACC Player of the Week

North Carolina freshman forward Summer Green has been named the ACC Women’s Soccer Player of the week following her role in wins over No. 12/8 Marquette and San Diego. Green was named the most valuable player of the 2012 Duke Nike Classic following a pair of two-goal games to help the Tar Heels defeat Marquette, 4-0, and San Diego, 5-0. (GoHeels.com)
