Football player McAdoo appeals dismissed lawsuit against NCAA, UNC

Lawyers for former UNC football player Michael McAdoo planned to ask a state appeals court Thursday to reinstate a lawsuit against the school and NCAA. McAdoo claimed his prospective NFL career was irreparably harmed when he was kicked off the Tar Heels team in 2010. He was signed by the NFL's Baltimore Ravens in 2011 and is now recovering from a second serious injury.
