Playing status of UNC’s Gio Bernard left to guesswork

Considering the way coaches Larry Fedora and Tom O’Brien dodge the issue of reporting the health and availability of their players even when they’re supposed to, it’s doubtful – or at the very least, questionable – that we’d learn the playing status of Tar Heels running back Giovani Bernard and Wolfpack safety Earl Wolff until game time Saturday regardless of the circumstances.
