Carolina came up just short of pulling off a furious comeback Saturday. Erik Highsmith was unable to hold on to what would have been the go-ahead touchdown pass late in the game, and the Tar Heels dropped their second straight. But Highsmith didn't lose the game for the Tar Heels; a different outcome on several plays throughout the course of the action could have changed the outcome. (Tar Heel Monthly)
