Second half Heels: Facing a 29-point halftime deficit, North Carolina didn’t just save face in the second at Louisville, it nearly won the game. Led by QB Bryn Renner, RB Romar Morris and a suddenly resurgent defense, the Tar Heels outgained the Cardinals 243-102 and outscored them 27-3 before seeing their comeback fall four yards short of the go-ahead touchdown in the final two minutes.
