Ex-Heel Donald Williams named to Northwood basketball post
Posted Sep 19, 2012
The new coach in Pittsboro isn’t being asked to rebuild a program. Northwood High School’s boys’ basketball has been good for years. Donald Williams is expected to take the Chargers all the way to the top, a place he’s been before. Williams shot the lights out during the 1993 NCAA Tournament and was named the most outstanding player, leading the Tar Heels to a national championship.
