Ex-Heel Donald Williams named to Northwood basketball post
Posted Sep 19, 2012
The new coach in Pittsboro isn’t being asked to rebuild a program. Northwood High School’s boys’ basketball has been good for years. Williams shot the lights out during the 1993 NCAA Tournament and was named the most outstanding player, leading the Tar Heels to a national championship.
