Hakeem Nicks will miss game vs. hometown Panthers

Still recovering from foot surgery in late May, New York Giants receiver Hakeem Nicks will miss Thursday night's game against the Carolina Panthers. Nicks, the former Independence High School and University of North Carolina standout, sat out of practice all week and did not participate in walk-throughs today.
