Posted Sep 23, 2012
Carolina beat the Pirates 27-6, evening their record at 2-2. Giovani Bernard played without straining the knee, gaining 50 yards against a defense aligned to stop the rush, catching six passes for 52 yards and scoring two touchdowns.
