In addition to Butch Davis's ties to Miami, several other UNC coaches have ties to the Hurricanes program. Defensive coordinator Chuck Pagano served as a graduate assistant in 1986, when Davis was there, and returned as Davis's special teams and secondary coach from 1995 to 2000. When Davis left Miami to take the head coaching job with the Cleveland Browns, Pagano joined him. (Carolina Blue)
