UNC quarterback Bryn Renner has Virginia Tech connection

Bryn Renner was raised on Virginia Tech football, but those family ties won't matter Saturday when the Hokies come to Kenan Stadium. North Carolina's junior quarterback, who hails from West Springfield, Va., will try to lead the Tar Heels to victory against the Hokies in a 12:30 p.m. game that could have significant implications in the ACC's Coastal Division race.
