Strelow: Seven years later, Adam Greenberg gets another at-bat in the majors

Tonight, seven-plus years after he was hit by a pitch in his only major league plate appearance, will be back in the bigs. The Miami Marlins have signed Greenberg, a 31-year-old North Carolina alum, to a one-day contract with the guarantee that he gets one at-bat against the New York Mets, who are scheduled to start knuckleballer R.A. Dickey. (Fayetteville Observer)
