UNC's Sean Tapley steps up big time to fill receiver void

North Carolina’s next breakout player may be someone who says he was only thrown to once last season — and he dropped the pass. Sophomore Sean Tapley returned a kickoff 94 yards for a touchdown and caught a 19-yard touchdown pass in UNC’s 48-34 win over Virginia Tech, stepping up to fill a void at receiver and giving the Tar Heels another weapon in Larry Fedora’s spread offense.
