Bryn Renner named finalist for Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award

The ACC leads all conferences with five nominees for the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award, announced Thursday. Here are the finalists: Tajh Boyd, Clemson; E.J. Manuel, Florida State; Bryn Renner, North Carolina; Mike Glennon, NC State; Logan Thomas, Virginia Tech. That gives the ACC one-third of the eligible field. The Big 12 has four nominees, while the SEC has three.
