Dexter Strickland, a senior coming off knee surgery, and Marcus Paige, a highly touted freshman, figure to handle the duties at point guard, the position vacated by Kendall Marshall. When asked who might open the season as the starter, coach Roy Williams’ response was telling. “You should never do this,” Williams said, “but I expect Marcus Paige to be there.”
