In this close Battle of Tobacco Road, North Carolina just barely beat rival Duke, 41-40. came up with a huge interception with 1:20 left that stopped a Duke offensive drive and kept the Victory Bell trophy in Chapel Hill for another year. Tar Heels WR caught one touchdown and threw for another. Duke WR Jon Jenson caught a record 14 passes, scored one touchdown, and had 174 yards on the day. (The ACC)
