Kendric Williams Out For Season

Starting cornerback Kendric Williams will miss the remainder of the season. The senior suffered a torn ACL in his left knee Saturday against Virginia Tech. Williams, a former walk-on who received a scholarship for the 2007 season, started the first five games this year, recording 15.5 tackles. After suffering the injury Saturday, Williams was replaced by sophomore Jermaine Strong, who is expected to now assume the starting role.
