North Carolina found itself in the middle of an interesting challenge Friday in its exhibition with Shaw University. The visitors from Raleigh came in and played Carolina quite tough for over a half. The Bears led the Tar Heels by a basket (43-41) around the 16-minute mark of the second half before Carolina embarked on a 33-4 run to pull away for an 81-54 triumph.
