"Saint" Bernard to the rescue

After rolling his ankle and getting taken off the punt return team earlier in the second half, Bernard put himself back in the game with 30 seconds left. He then scored a 74-yard punt return touchdown to break a tie and give UNC a 43-35 win at Kenan Stadium. “That’s like a or a Babe Ruth play,” guard said. “To call your own number like that and then make it happen — that’s amazing.” (Durham Herald-Sun)
