Giovani Bernard Named Maxwell Award Semifinalist


North Carolina tailback is one of 16 semifinalists for the 2012 Maxwell Award for the Collegiate Player of the Year. Maxwell Football Club President, Ron Jaworski, announced the 2012 semifinalists Monday. Bernard leads the nation in all-purpose yards per game, punt return average and scoring per game.
