Bernard has been virtually unstoppable in the seven games he has played this season, and has made the strongest push in recent weeks to merit serious consideration for the award. Bernard now is the top all-purpose runner in the nation, averaging a whopping 214 yards per game. Being used in the return game has provided an added dimension. (ESPN.com)
