NFL Update: Week Nine

Two former North Carolina linebackers led their respective defenses in tackles in Week Nine of the NFL season. Rookie Zach Brown tied his career high in tackles, logging 10 in a 51-20 loss to the Chicago Bears. Two of his stops went for a loss. Third year pro Bruce Carter also matched his career high with 10 stops in a loss to the Falcons. Two of Carter's stops were made in the backfield.
