ACC Player of the Year Watch, Nov. 13

2. Giovani Bernard didn’t have his best game against Georgia Tech, but it certainly wasn’t his fault the Tar Heels lost, either. I’d put that blame on the UNC defense. In a losing effort, Gio managed 172 all-purpose yards and two touchdowns. He also became the first ACC running back to clear 1,000 yards rushing this season, doing so for the second year in a row.
