The Tar Heels feature a glut of perimeter threats. But in both victories this season, exactly which of those players would become a reliable scoring option remains unclear. Dexter Strickland had 13 points against Florida Atlantic and Reggie Bullock had 16 against Gardner-Webb. But fellow vets P.J. Hairston and Leslie McDonald failed to find their scoring touch in either outing.
