It's getting tiring -- the missed tackles, the limited interceptions, the three straight losses. But if North Carolina doesn't figure out a way to get its defense more breathers beginning Saturday at No. 17 Virginia Tech, it's likely to get worse. Through four games, the 1-3 Tar Heels rank 119th -- that's last -- in the NCAA in time of possession, holding the ball almost 11 minutes fewer than its opponents.
