Tar Heels' Houston showed his bruising style in first week of action

It's funny how things can change and yet remain the same. Ryan Houston and Hakeem Nicks used to share a backfield at Albemarle Road Middle School in Charlotte -- Houston as the quarterback and Nicks at running back. Six years later, they're sharing the football as teammates at North Carolina. Houston has grown into a 6-2, 255-pound bulldozer of a running back, an inch taller and 40 pounds heavier than Nicks.
