Dascenzo: Beamer a nightmare for UNC

Frank Beamer's decision not to take the UNC job has haunted the Tar Heels in several ways. Virginia Tech entering the ACC -- not something UNC people were in favor of -- might be the biggest. Dick Baddour's effort to lure Beamer ended in total frustration and UNC settled for alumnus John Bunting, whose 27-45 record in six years included one winning season, which happened to be his first.
