North Carolina QB Bryn Renner finished 28-for-39 for 305 yards and five touchdowns in a 45-38 win over Maryland, tying a single-game school record for touchdown passes. Renner also established a single-season school record with 28 touchdown passes, topping his previous mark of 26 in 2011. Chris Keldorf (23 in 1996) is the only other Tar Heels quarterback to throw for at least 20 touchdowns in a season. (ESPN.com)
