With a bum shoulder sidelining freshman Marcus Paige, and P.J. Hairston and Reggie Bullock playing through injuries, Dexter Strickland looked to kick start a team in need of a strong performance. In the end, it’s hard to argue with the outcome, a 102-84 win over the Blazers. But getting there wasn’t as simple or easy as the final box score would have it appear.
