Downsized lineup comes with deficiencies for Tar Heels

The North Carolina coach’s most effective lineup in last week’s game against Alabama-Birmingham was clearly a smaller, guard-oriented attack. With Dexter Strickland, Leslie McDonald, Reggie Bullock, P.J. Hairston and James Michael McAdoo on the floor, UAB had no answer for the athleticism and quickness that came with the Tar Heels’ four-guard lineup plus McAdoo.
