Tarred Heels: North Carolina struggles to find footing in new era

A few years ago, another Division I coach suggested to me that the greatest challenge North Carolina coach Roy Williams faced is that everybody wants what he sells. They want it as soon as it’s offered. So Williams’ must learn to make up his mind more quickly than other coaches, sort out which might be the right players to approach with early scholarship offers.
