Tar Heels at a loss for words after second straight faltering finish

Thursday’s meltdown against Miami at the Smith Center began about six minutes earlier than Sunday’s stumble to the finish at Virginia. But the mistakes that led to the losses – the rushed shots, the missed defensive assignments that leave opposing shooters wide open, the lack of rebounding on both ends of the floor – were eerily similar.
