North Carolina seemed poised to match its worst ACC start ever at 0-3 until P.J. Hairston and Jackson Simmons came off the bench to save it in Tallahassee on Saturday. The Tar Heels’77-72 win against Florida State flipped the script on their first two league games, in which they faltered down the stretch in losses to Virginia and Miami.
