T.J. Yates continues to shine for Tar Heels despite second loss


After showing loads of promise in his first two starts, it looked as if the progress of North Carolina freshman quarterback may have stalled as the Tar Heels had little success on offense early against Virginia. By game’s end, the Tar Heels took a 22-20 loss in Saturday’s ACC opener at Kenan Stadium, but Yates again proved to be a bright spot for the Tar Heels (1-2). (Burlington Times News)
