T.J. Yates enters UNC record book

Through his first three games, UNC quarterback T.J. Yates has put himself in elite company. The redshirt freshman threw for 339 yards in the Tar Heels' 22-20 loss to Virginia on Saturday. Yates' total was the ninth most passing yards in a game by a North Carolina quarterback. Yates has thrown for nine touchdowns this season – the most by a Tar Heels quarterback during the first three games of any season.
