Joel Berry Commits to North Carolina

didn’t go to North Carolina this weekend thinking it would be only official college visit. But that all changed once the Lake Highland Prep junior basketball standout soaked in Tar Heels basketball from a courtside seat at the Center. Berry, a 6-foot point guard ranked as ESPN’s No. 12 junior prospect, orally committed to sign with North Carolina on Monday. He called before practice to tell him he had talked his decision over with his parents and high school coaches and had seen all he needs to see in the recruiting process. (Orlando Sentinel)
