Hakeem Nicks quiets talk of slump
Posted Sep 17, 2007
Was UNC's top wide receiver experiencing a sophomore slump? In a word: No. Hakeem Nicks busted out in a big way Saturday in UNC's 22-20 loss to Virginia, shaking off his struggles from the previous week to make seven receptions for 113 yards and two touchdowns. "I just forgot about what happened," said Nicks, who posted the third 100-yard receiving game of his college career.
