Tar Heels show more progress, top Georgia Tech

Even with poster-quality dunks from P.J. Hairston and J.P. Tokoto providing highlight-reel moments, this North Carolina victory won’t be sealed in a vault and saved for ACC basketball posterity. But still, the Tar Heels uncovered enough signs of progress in defeating Georgia Tech 79-63 that, no matter if Wednesday night felt somewhat routine, there was satisfaction to be gleaned.
