Despite its leading scorer sidelined early with foul trouble, North Carolina pulled within four points midway through the first half to quiet the PNC Arena crowd, if only for a moment. Then the Tar Heels fell apart. “In my opinion, there’s not a lot I can say,” UNC head coach Roy Williams told reporters during his postgame press conference. “It was a butt-kicking is what it was.”
