McDonald’s return will help soften the blow of Hairston’s injury for UNC

It’s highly doubtful that P.J. Hairston will be able to play for North Carolina when it takes on Virginia Tech at the Smith Center on Saturday. That’s bad news for the Tar Heels considering that Hairston has been the team’s most effective offensive player over the past five games. The potential blow, however, will be softened by the return of guard Leslie McDonald.
