Johnny White gains confidence

The numbers aren't outstanding or among the league leaders, but after two games North Carolina tailback Johnny White believes he is getting better and more comfortable as a starter. A redshirt freshman who rushed for more than 5,000 yards for Asheville High, White is among three young running backs trying to revive a once-proud running game in Chapel Hill that hasn't produced a 1,000-yard rusher since 1997.
