Johnny White gains confidence


The numbers aren't outstanding or among the league leaders, but after two games North Carolina tailback believes he is getting better and more comfortable as a starter. A redshirt freshman who rushed for more than 5,000 yards for Asheville High, White is among three young running backs trying to revive a once-proud running game in Chapel Hill that hasn't produced a 1,000-yard rusher since 1997.
