Kenny Kadji connected on a 3-pointer on Miami’s opening possession on Saturday, effectively prying off the lid with the first of a school record-tying 15 treys in the Hurricanes’ 87-61 throttling of North Carolina. In the first meeting between these two programs in January, Miami pulled away in the second half by making 5-of-9 3-pointers during 10-minute, 35-second stretch.
